Feminism was HIGHLY beneficial to the 10% of career women who do not care to have a family. To the rest of the females, not so much. 50% of the households headed by the single mothers are below the poverty line and 25% are just above it. Considering the fact that 55% of all new births are to the single mothers now, no less than quarter of all women and more like a third (only half are having children now), are basically destitute. That's why no one wants to touch the single mothers with a six foot pole: they are the new untouchables. Well, it was nothing like that in the 1950s during the soft patriarchy. Personally, I thank feminism for liberating me so I can unabashedly live for myself and my friends instead of putting some ungrateful parasite on my stomach. Thanks again women's lib!
