So I’ve been one for almost 4 yrs now.

During this time I’ve noticed some transitions , changes or transformations within this community that I’d like to address.

First off what is MGTOW?

Well at base level it’s men doing a cost to benefit analysis and deciding minimal engagement with women is the optimum solution. Of course depending upon your culture, mindset and life experience you bring your own flavour as a cherry on top. That’s because Mgtow is a decentralized philosophy as opposed to MRA which is a collective movement .

Now here’s what I think mgtow should not be ( my opinion) but I see all the time :

  1. It’s not a right wing safe haven which some ppl think but is rather apolitical. Any older mgtow will let you know that trad con & rad fem are two sides of the same gynocentric coin.

  2. It’s not antifeminism but rather one level deeper . Most anti feminists are blue pilled people that only blame third wave and assign faults on feminism brainwashing women. This again helps take accountability away from women by making feminism the boogeyman. Mgtows on the other hand discuss topics like Briffault's Law, hypergamy , hybristophilia and alpha f*cks beta bucks which are a criticism on female behavior and not the crypto Marxist girl power movement.

  3. It's a philosophy for way of living and not a movement like MRA that's meant to still be in bargaining phase trying to change things which can not be changed. Mgtow just like stoicism is based on an idea that we can only control what's in our hands and hence should focus on that instead of wasting time & effort on uncontrollable things.

  4. Mgtow isn't a bunch of 'chads' that are too good for women. We are just men that have decided what's good for our individual selves. So shaming involuntary types telling they are not good enough to be in our premium club beats and contradicts the purpose.( I see some men in mgtow doing this and all)

All this is based on my perception and observation but please feel free to dissent and disagree after all we are not ideologues that are unable to respect opposing arguments.
