From these billboard ads, it’s clear to see that Marraige/Divorce is a racket

From just the image of the rings I thought at first it was an ad for a jewelry place like OOPS she’s pregnant better buy that ring, then I saw the divorce part and it actually made me cringe less.

Same. These divorce lawyer billboards are just so cynical. I don't know whether to cringe or laugh knowing all too well that I'm not going to conform and feed the marriage scam (and subsequent divorce machine.)

Who would want to get married? Shit, I wouldn't.

Never put two circles on an accessible billboard: some random juvenile with a spray can, a sinister smile and a genetalia art fetish will make quick work of it.

Something in your past you might wanna...uhmmm...share?

Downvote me all you want, idgaf.
marriage is a great thing for society when done right, and having a healthy relationship is the greatest advantage you can give your children.
Marriage inherently is good, not bad.
[–]MarkAurelios13 points14 points15 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Lol. As if anyone would disagree.
Men dont hate marriage, they hate what is has become.
The ideal male fantasy: being a father and patriarch to a loving wife and loving children. the alpha of the pack.
Problem is that reality does not enable this anymore, at all.

I don't think I've upvoted a response to such a downvoted statement.
You're a pragmatic person.

I mean it's not rocket science. One thing built into us Men is an eye for the future Generation. Ensuring that our Sons and Daughters will prosper, and do so in good health, both mental and physical.
We know that for the healthy development of Children, both parents are necessary so they can form healthy rolemodel expectation for all future interactions with both sexes. If you have a good mother and a good father as rolemodels, this completes you in a way nothing else can. It also gives you hope, drive and motivation for the future, as these two are the blueprint for all future interaction with every person you will ever encounter. If you have shit parents, you will distrust the world because you've been wronged greviously before even being able to think for yourself.
Accounting for all that, ofcourse the best thing for society would be Men and Women living in harmony together, caring for their children etc.
But again, reality doesn't enable this anymore on any level. So aslong as this is broken, I don't participate in it.

Marriage is a business contract, like any other contract. It's not about love. It's a money making machine for women, when they divorce you, once they see you making a boat load of money.
So no. it's not a healthy relationship. Not even for children. Marriage is a scam nowadays.
[–]sauce_hammer-3 points-2 points-1 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I get your point. the challenge is finding the one you’d trust enough to get that deep with.
It doesn't exist because women compete and keep score with each other.
You will not be the main influencer in her life, female culture will win over, her ideology, and that of her circle, despite how much money you have. Your money is her golden parachute.

Inherently it's beautiful.
Now it's shit.
