I have joint custody with the bitch. For sure child support would be cheaper by a lot. However, nothing is more important to me than being in my children’s lives. I see my kids almost everyday and they spend quite a bit of time with me. I make decent money and no matter how you slice it kids are expensive, very expensive. Did I say very expensive?

here the amount is based on a few factors including income. I pay close to $2K a month, one kid. It's more than the alimony.

We share full joint custody without conditions or restrictions, my kid could live with either of us full time. I still pay child support, even if he lived with me 100% of the time, I'd still have to pay or go to the court to get it changed.

My attorney said it would likely cost me even more, because once I file the court could change alimony or look at my assets again. Best for me is to just pay it and not kick the hornets nest of family court.

I am not on child support. Pay 350$ a month for my son and see him 50% of the time.

Avoid the courts and come to an agreement

It all depends on what country your from. I got put in court for child support the max here allowed under the law is $100 weekly per child. I pay $50 weekly an get visitation an access to my kid.

A long time ago men actually got full custody most often and the women would leave empty handed!
