I'm reminded about the first try at cryo-freezing of the deceased in the US. There was a documentary about it. These folks paid this guy to freeze them and store them in perpetuity. Something went sideways (can't remember if it was financial/technological/etc) but those people ended up just rotting in the heat.

I bet this happens to these women's eggs sometimes.
