Some female YouTube'r explains an anti-feminist book to her audience. Has the world lost all remaining literacy? Why do I need any woman to explain any book to me, that I can simply read for myself? That said: it's a classic book, from the early 1900s. Please read it for yourselves, gentlemen.

Having just glanced at Amazon: one of the reviews says that Cioran's book is available as a free PDF, in an undisclosed location, but I haven't yet looked for it. I did bookmark the entry Amazon had for it. I'll add both books to my (lengthy) wish lists, for later. How much later, I don't know ... only so much time, and lots more books than I can concentrate on!

As for books on narcissism: one gem I loved was by Debbie Mirza, on the topic of rare "Covert Passive-Aggressive" types of narcissists. I find it fascinating (as a personal aside) that, in my opinion, anyway, most straight-sounding men trying to write about narcissism, wander all over the place, thoughts-wise: as if the concept of thinking like a narc was totally foreign. And yet women, and feminized men, seem totally at ease with the idea of all of the intricacies of how those modes work, on an internal level. Methinks that's the way to go: ask a woman! They know how to write about narcissism, and explain it so well, because (in my opinion) all women have a seed, at least, of narcissism in them. (And some have a forest, fully grown.)

The only time I've seen the idea of "women most likely invented narcissism, and men picked it up from women" mentioned as being related to evo-psyche principles or theories was in a book called, I believe, "The Rise of Men".

I think Happy Humble Hermit's channel was where I first saw that book reviewed. As for other good authors about the topic of narcissism, I've liked all of Dana Morningstar's books on that topic (that I have: I skipped her more recent ones) and I can't get a copy of one by an admittedly gay male back, from the (way) older female I let borrow my copy, months ago. Not a big deal: I've always got plenty of books, awaiting my attention.

Good point. I had some narc relationships before that really fucked me up but it was a good lesson. I am meeting these types of people in a business enviroment. They always try to gaslight you into their frame which is what never happens with me. There was this one who reached out to me after a while and told me that in his whole existence no one really "fucked" with him the way I did. Well. I just cut the crap early on. Also, my first ever serious relationship, vile and toxic was with a narc chic so yeah. I will check the recommendations for sure.

If you found a PDF would be nice. Could start reading right away. They shipped the copy I ordered today so hopefully at the end of the month. I do similar music for over 20+ years so it hits my taste pretty well. As for the PDF, there is a lot of his books on PDF drive. Apart from that I only found a non-functioning PDF on the internet that does not load and another which only features 8-9 pages or so.

No, sir....it definitely is NOT about that. There IS a consistent mild irritant combined with an understandable exasperation to the never-ending encroachment into male spaces. There's not one...not one space that men create that they eventually don't slither their way into. For the record, this is no "he-man girl's hater club" rant. I've zero issues with a healthy market place of ideas. Open your eyes and you'll see that every place they slither into...they change the tone, wording and core philosophy of each space to suite them.

They've destroyed comics, video games.....heck...the damned boyscouts. For the record.... I'm not an ardent fan of any of those activities....but it's obvious men created each space while it's also obvious that each of those spaces has become a space no longer suitable for little boys/young men.

As a man that has spent a lifetime suffering from attempts to tell me who I was supposed to be, or not be: I'm going to reject your words, and especially the "enmeshment attempts" and subtle shaming, and I'm going to continue to be exactly what I am: a unique individual.

Sorry if that offends, but that's a HUGE part of MGTOW, as I see it.

MGTOW is about going "YOUR OWN" way, so, I would very strongly disagree that there is any kind of an enforceable "thou shalt" or "thou shalt not" in this non-collectivist, highly-individualist, loose group.

As for "Snap out" ... you seem to have missed my central point.

I want a primary source, every single time. That's my main point.

A second point or layer is this: why would I trust any woman with, supposedly, a "bookworm" mindset, of unknown IQ, when I'm drowning in stacks of books, myself; and my IQ has been tested FAR above "normal"? It sounds like she hopes simps and twitches will "enmesh with the female collective" to a disgusting and off-putting degree. "Pick me, I'm brainy" is just the latest trick of chameleons.

I wouldn't trust any "former feminist" to review a book like "See Spot run," for me. I wouldn't. They understand everything through their own very twisted minds, which are (at best) rusty and mangled. In comparison, my measured IQ is far above the norm. Would I trust a person with an IQ sixty points lower than mine, to "get it right"? No.

I'm not into "enmeshing with the female collective" on anything. It doesn't take 20 minutes to hold up a book, and say, "read it". She could have, and I would argue, should have, stopped at doing that much. Anything more is sexist and arrogant on her part. It is part of the whole male individuation process, to put up boundaries from having nonsense slipping into one's mind, from unreliable sources. And society is full of unreliable sources, dumping crap on people's minds. I think anyone seeking "individuation" must be on guard, so I asked why would I (or anyone else) want a female, reviewing a book that we can easily read for ourselves?

Especially a women that's got a header image for her YT channel that contradicts itself with "former feminist" status, all over, but that says, right up front, that she still wants to be a "queen". Doesn't sound very "former" of a feminist, to me. Sounds like another chameleon, saying, "Pick me! Pick me!" ... now that the philosophy dried things up, for the pool of available slaves, or sperm donors. Other's mileage may vary. And if it does, no skin off my nose. We should all go our own ways.

Why trust a woman, or even a male for that matter, to tell me what's in a book that I have had in my own personal library for years? Is she likely to focus on the part where the male author said that feminism, a generation or two before his time, should have been "crushed under the iron heel of strength"? I doubt she agrees with that idea.

Book lovers please note: the original author of that book says that women do NOT have the same intelligence capacity that men do. He considered it demonstrable fact. He considered questioning that idea absurd. Is it likely any woman raised within the last fifty years is going to want to cover that, objectively? I'll trust my own reading ability. I didn't watch her video, but I downloaded it. Might be laugh-worthy, by my standards, to see a "former feminist" try to "be brainy". (If she was always brainy, why was she ever a feminist in the first place?! To me, it's like a person born with no legs, wanting to be a pole vaulter.)

Gentlemen, read (and think) for yourselves, please. That's my point.
