One, two generations ago a five person household was able to thrive on a single moderate income. Thanks to feminism-socialism the workforce doubled and the value of the currency halved. I would be able to live like a king today, would be retired by now, if not half of my colleagues were women.

The screaming of housewives not getting paid fairly goes back generations, but what they didn't realized was, that women had their husband wageslaving for five while she could stay at home and did her part. Now see what all this victim mentality has gotten you, namely lots of single mothers and no man to take care of them and their children. That is exactly the result you can expect when women take over society.

If a stay at home parent would be required to be financially compensated, this would classify them as an employee.

Therefore the employee is employed to take care of the children and home. Meaning the children and home are not possessions of the employee, but that of the employer.

In an At-Will employment State this would also mean they could be fired. Attempting to take the home or children would then be considered theft.

In conclusion, I'm all for this. We men will gladly employ (at-will) women to take care of our homes and our children. When they no longer perform the duties to our liking, they will be fired and replaced with a newer and more effective (attractive & thinner) model. There will be NO more child support or alimony. It will be completely at the discretion of the employer as to if the employee would be offered a severance package. The employee after termination will no longer be allowed on employer properties.

Also, the employee can quit their job at any time. Much like in the workforce world, employees do not get to take home any items from the place of employment, nor do they have any rights or contact to the children that they were employed to watch over.

I'm going to have the exact opposite take as most of you on here. I an enthusiastic about paying women for housework and staying home. I even think we as a society can afford it.

Here's why. In any company the majority of women provide negative productivity. They make my job harder than it needs to be. And they get paid decent wages to provide negative productivity. Paying them to stay home means that overall productivity goes up, and if I pay them even 80% of what I would be paying them to "work" I think we overall come out ahead.

I pay wages for housework.
The cleaner comes in alternate Thursdays and does the kitchen, the bathroom, the carpets and a clean round most other places.

Dude staying home with the kids was a vacation. I would have everything cleaned and ready by 10 am and the rest of my day was for me. Hell when they were in school I would even have a few drinks with lunch and then make them ride the bus home. When they got home they would immediately put their stuff away and do their homework. After that it was do whatever you want until dinner and bed time. The most relaxing thing ever. When my ex watched the kids she acted like she just had her teeth pulled.
