So despite being MGTOW in my personal life one of my main hobbies is fan fiction writing. And for the large majority is for my main pairings in the various fandoms I write in is for romantic pairings for my main characters.

I write other relationships obviously, male friendships of brotherhood and the like. Han and Luke is one of my favorite male friendships.

Like Luke Skywalker/Mara Jade, Batman/Catwoman, Green Arrow/Black Canary, and so forth are some of the main relationships I use. Because I do enjoy those relationships and how the characters interact with each other.

Mind you I write them as healthy and trusting ones.

Of course, I have written stories where I have called out the toxic-ness of certain relationships from the actual officially produced media and such which is fun itself.

Anyway, for the longest time like "Can, I keep writing despite going my own way" and eventually I just went "Yeah I can for one simple reason, I'm writing fiction of it's not real in the first place."

Besides for my fan fiction writing in the first place I know if I had a girlfriend I know I couldn't spend as much time as I like doing my fan fiction. Yeah no thanks.

Which I had to do my best to put aside the hatred of some people on here who hate romantic relationships in fictional media, no matter what and just keep doing what I like.

The same principle applies to writing female characters like Catwoman who can go toe to with a group of thugs and take them down. Or you know personality wise where they can be actual caring people. It's fiction, it's not real in the first place.

In other news, the raging, vile upset reviews I do get for when I have used my stories to point out the toxic relationships or characters in the stories is well entertaining at times.

So just sticking to being my own person where I can live and enjoy my own life for being free, regardless of what anybody says, does or wants from us.

After all, that is why we have all come to this site is to discuss how we are or getting there, and supporting each other in being MGTOW.
