Even the vote was about privilege. Women never push for equal responsibility with men. Men earned the right to vote via military service which turned into selective service. Women offer NOTHING, yet gain the right to vote.

Additionally, women who join the military frequently are found to be pregnant, whenever they are called to active service.

Never give someone a taste of the benefits first. You give them responsibilities first and then let them EARN the perks they want.

It's the pyramid diagram. There are a group of very rich, very influential men at the top of the pyramid. This is a tiny minority of the human population. Then, you have the base of the pyramid. Again, mostly men; the tradesmen, laborers, servicemen and others who do hard/uncomfortable/dangerous work. Most women are somewhere in the middle but when they look around, they only see that minority at the top and demand equal representation. Because the men at the bottom of the pyramid are invisible to most women, the work they do and the risks they take are also invisible.

One thing that's quite common to witness amongst most women is that, unlike men, they don't really see the problem in being a liability to others, specially males such as their own father, husband, or boyfriend (talking about the 13 - 25 age group especially) . They are emotionally driven and seek novelty and excitement, and spend mostly on experiences and things that provide short term gratification rather than things that would equip them with usable, workable skills and provide returns, such as say a practically useful certification, while men would mostly hesitate to be of burden to people, especially after they're out of college. Even if they do, most would consider expensive gifts and a high standard of living a birthright.

Employers essentially only care about the bottom line. If there are qualified workers, no one cares if they are male or female, especially in the work from home economy, when no one knows. Employers care about who is going to get the job done, who is trustworthy, who is dependable, who cares about attention to detail, and that just so happens to end up being men 80-90% of the time in REAL high stress (high pay) jobs.
