Fire these women.

This has to be seen to be believed. At about 4 minutes:

David Leyonhjelm: So it's not possible to tell whether any or some of the gender pay gap is simply attributable to a different of number hours worked?"

Janin Bredehoeft: [blah blah blah] no.

David Leyonhjelm: Why is it you don't look at hours worked? You don't collect it, but ABS does. It is available.

Libby Lyons: The other thing I would say at this stage Senator is just because somebody might be sitting at their desk for 12 hours a day doesn't mean you're getting 12 hours of productivity out of them. And doesn't mean that they're working in essence any harder than someone who may sit at their desk for 8 hours.

David Leyonhjelm: That is true, but they are getting paid for the 12 whether they're doing any work. [...] The issue for your agency is [whether] a male sitting at the desk [is] getting paid more than a female sitting a desk. The question is, irrespective of the hours, for those hours which they're getting paid is there a difference between men and women?

Silence.

In the game industry I regularly worked 80 to 100 hours a week and this abomination of a woman thinks people who work 12 hours a day 7 days a week should get paid the same normalized annual salary as people who work a 4 hour part time shift?

What an absolute fucking joke.

Amazingly these hags are funded by the Australian government.

It's also interesting how they're pretty directly dismissing the idea that people who are staying around longer are doing more work.

It's kind of reminiscent of a shitty boss who assumes you're doing less work if you show up four hours before them but leave an hour before they do. You know, the kind that can't imagine that you're doing work when they can't see you?

Had a couple of these in the game industry. Stayed at the office till 2 in the morning more times than I can count to get the build fixed so it would run for the testers the next day. Next day (or same day, who knows, it all blends together when you're a few months out from ship) come in an hour or so after everyone else with only 3 or 4 hours of sleep, and the senior producer looks around the office like you've just committed some grievous sin. Good managers are worth their weight in gold. Crap ones have no idea how much they hinder the process because they have no idea what it takes to make anything. In fact there is a running joke among development staff at just about every studio I have ever worked at: "What exactly do 'Producers' produce?" I feel like I should adapt The Mythical Man-Month for feminist bullshit artists like the ones in this video.

The inference being that a woman gets more done in 8 hours than a man in 12! The proof of this is found in the magical anus of the unicorn that also holds the proof of the pay gap.

Women in politics are becoming an ignorant entitled cunts. Me Me Me, if you don't agree with ME, then you're an oppressor... How can you not see the selective data I provide you, and insist on having the actual accessible data that debunk my gender pay gap?! How dare you not accept gay marriage while I go against men's international day?!

Hypocrite cunts.

[–]MuleFool4221 points22 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

Wow, the first clip is just stunning. Can't answer the question, can we?

It's just ginned up data that means nothing. Unbelievable. The guy is asking BASIC questions and they can't answer, and yet feel the need to shame in their attitude toward him. He's just supposed to accept their bullshit and not ask annoying questions.

Fuck that.

And she lies multiple times. The senator asks her if she could provide a pay gap corrected for hours worked and she lies and says that she did "15%", but he pulls her up, 'That was not corrected for hours', so she lies again "We don't have that data". They do have the data from the census, but the 15% pay gap would disappear if they used the data that showed men work 15% more hours so they have to ignore it and keep using the shitty annualised data.

Ironic that it is taking 5 women to do 1 job while arguing about pay equality.

[–]OptimalAdhesiveness5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

For real, it took one dude about 10 seconds to find a flaw with the proposal it took 5 women who knows how long to put together. When she sighed it was obvious she knew it was over and she'd been caught in her lies.

[–]MuleFool422 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Excellent points. It's a myth, always has been, and it can't stand the light of day.

[–]tdh79219 points20 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Man they are dumb.

[–][deleted] 20 points21 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

When I see stuff like this, it's hard not to conclude that women and not that bright and they simply see what they want to see. Any person who has actually does research knows that when you look at data you have to be careful to not simply find what you are looking for.

It's called "experimenter bias". Let's say you had some raw data, total pay over a year split between men and women. Now you have to start looking at the various factors that need to be accounted for in order to compare "apples to apples". Some factors will push one direction and some will push the other. If you simply stop thinking once you see what you want then you can have the data say either way you like.

[–]iForceM17 points18 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

This is a good example of how women do not understand facts, reason and logic. What they want is, want you to believe whatever they dish it out.

[–]ShittyArtisan11 points12 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Female privilege is to be deemed, patronized, as equal when you're not even aware of the gulf in capability or responsibility.

[–]1Badshot10 points11 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Translated from the original Bureaucratic Bullshit to English:

"Senator, we do not collect hourly data because it would prove there is no income gap. No income disparity would nullify our agency's excuse to exist, throwing hundreds of angry women with useless gender studies degrees out on the streets."

[–]EpicFruityPie9 points10 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Holy shit how many times do they have to mumble and stutter and have no answer dumb bitches

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

In the second part where they interview they two, why are the closeup shots cropped unevenly so that the man is half out of the frame?? Is someone really that incompetent at video?

[–]PlantsAreAliveToo7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

They are ALL FEMALE, and they call themselves "gender equality legislation committee"... yeah right.

[–]MarcusAurileus706 points7 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Just got their comeuppance at the last election.

[–]MysticHermetic3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Very entertaining

[–]Drayelya3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Shut the fuck down so hard they could barely keep their words straight.

[–]GeminiVBQ3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Ah, yes. Dancing around the question actually being asked. A classical tactic that people just seem to eat up.

[–]Loban89903 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I swear to god this was like watching a slow train wreck.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
