What's it going to take to start holding the chinese accountable for these diseases? Quite a few devastating things have come out of that country over history. How many deaths will it take for them to finally be held accountable? I feel even an extinction level plague and people will still spout "DoNt Be RaCySs It CoUlD HaVe ComE FrOm AnYwHeRe"

Even Trump has changed his tone since they agreed to buy a lot of things from America.... They have a new trade deal

Here in India, people want some type of punishment for China. If it was up to me, I would declare war lol
[–]markus_brutus9 points10 points11 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
How would that solve anything?

I agree, China should be at least shamed internationally for its negligence. And if it wants to do business with any other country again they should adapt the same modern safety standards like every other developed country (i.e food industry)
Truth is their growth and wealth is no spread equally, so it's still kind of a wild west in there. They have fast bullet trains while people still live in bamboo houses with no electricity and laws or regulations are still not up to modern standards.
[–]Prototype_Grendel6 points7 points8 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Shame is the one thing we have on them. Chinese culture is hugely based on shaming bad behaviour, the rest of the world needs to start just publicly shaming china for all this bullshit.
[–]cfuse10 points11 points12 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
What's it going to take to start holding the chinese accountable for these diseases?
For them to run out of bribes and cheap labour.
I've said it elsewhere and I'll say it here: China needs to be treated as a permanent hot zone. If the West cannot give up our addiction to cheap shit and Chinese dirty money that can still be gotten without allowing the filthy Chinese disease vectors out of the country. Keep diseases created by Chinese filth where they belong: China.
[–]MuchIndependence3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
People do stupid shit in China because the wonderful communist regime that runs the country has a vested interest in limiting how educated people can become and that leads to all kinds of bizarre cultural superstitious shit being taken seriously by people that never got the opportunity to learn any better.
[–]Nailknocker2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Educated people are too tough to govern them with a bunch of shitters. This is the beginning of an end to every authoritarian regime.

It'll be when we start holding the Americans accountable for H1N1, the Africans for AIDS and the Brazilians for Zika. It's not a Chinese problem, it's a HUMAN problem. Get that through your head.
[–]TerribleFruit9 points10 points11 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You could argue that with SARS, it was an accident but SARS originated at a wet market. Think a butcher market with no hygiene and the occasional live animal. After SARS the Chinese government was warned and acknowledged the threat wet markets posed to public health and shut them down but shortly afterwards reopened them.
It is china's faulty in my opinion as they never learned from history but acknowledged the threat and went on as before.
Then they lied to the world saying it was no worse than a flu and lied about their number preventing other nations from modelling the spread.
[–]me-dgaf8 points9 points10 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Quit being such a simp. If they practice a little more hygiene, we wouldn't be dealing with this shit. Even assuming the start of it is not their fault, their hiding the information for weeks (and still hiding the true number) fucks up the rest of the world.
[–]A_Walt_Whitman-2 points-1 points0 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
And if Africans didn't fuck monkeys we wouldn't have to deal with AIDS. And if Americans didn't eat pigs we wouldn't have to deal with H1N1.
Do you know for a fact they're hiding their true numbers? Were your boots on the ground? If not then STFU because you're just assuming things then. The Chinese government is ass-backwards, I'll give you that. But there's nothing to gain by lying about the numbers.
The difference between them and us is their ability to enforce social distancing by brute force, if necessary (see welding doors shut)

[–]protonpaq10 points11 points12 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
This is really it right here. Globalism is what caused this to spread so fast and wide outside of China. If this happened 25 years ago, it would have been contained entirely within the Wuhan province.
Do you think the 21 days lockdown will help?

People in the West worry about China's army and fake, manufactured economy...they should worry about it's fourth-world human hygiene and stone-age dietary practices.
[–][deleted] 9 points10 points11 points 3 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Maybe they should go vegetarian for a while. Eating birds, bats, cats and dogs is not good for humans.
[–]Cowgineer17 points18 points19 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
That's not a need for "going vegetarian" (which is slightly less retarded than going vegan), that's a need for eating things that were meant to be eaten, and cooking your damn food properly.
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
The reason these viruses and diseases exist is because there are farms and meat markets that function as incubators for bacteria and viruses. So you can cook all you want, doesn't help.
[–]Cowgineer4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
...because these meats are not handled safely or properly cooked.
[–]argon_palladium2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Ignorant people downvote your comment. There are over 1.5 billion cattles and 20 billion chickens in the world, most of these animals are raised in farmhouses where alot of them are stuffed and barely have space to move, no wonder new diseases show up. meat is not bad for health, but it is safer to switch to vegan diet for now.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I doubt animal products are good for you in the amount most people eat them. They taste good, but it comes with many consequences. Hormones, cholesterol, saturated fat, parasites
[–]TheTastelessBatman8 points9 points10 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
They opened up the Wuhan wet market back again a few days ago. Why the fuck would they do that?
[–]hedon74 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Because the virus didn’t come from the markets, it’s been proven that patient zero in November had no connection to the markets. Bats are not available for sale there because they’re 900km away in a 1km deep cave.
The bat explanation is a lie by omission: yes the virus might have originally come from a bat, but then escaped the p4 weapons lab in Wuhan.

Practices like this are why the Japanese have looked down on the Chinese for so long throughout history; the hygiene just isn't there for a large portion of the population.
[–]MoosehAlex2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This isn't really MGTOW related, but I think it's okay to have an exception.
China is an enemy, but it's only one enemy. Our true enemy is really communism as a whole, and this monster has many arms (feminism, black lives matter, etc.). China is just the biggest communist nation right now and they're a huge arm of the communism monster. Not to mention all these businesses and corporations selling out to China, whether they're the NBA, colleges, or gaming companies like Blizzard. But, the people trying to push for communism in the west are just as dangerous.
As for the Kung Flu, regardless of whether it started in a wet market or in a lab, the point is taht China is 100% responsible for this shit, and if China is not held responsible, this shit is going to keep happening every couple years. People die from the viruses and obviously that's bad, but the real damage will come economically. Not only are people losing their jobs (and what that means for people who end up in poverty), but the cries for more communism (e.g. universal health care) grow louder by the ignorant people.

The german goverment know about it and did the opposite to this warning. They decrease the hospital supply.
Now they lock us down.
