she was 100 percent faithful to her husband, except when she was out of town for work each month
If she cheated when she was out of town, that kinda means she isn't 100 percent faithful. The author is practically excusing her misbehaviour just because she wasn't in the same place as her husband. Unbelievable. It doesn't matter where the affair takes place, it's still an affair, so she isn't 100 percent faithful.
[–]protonexus174 points75 points76 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
In zee mind of wymyns, it's not important that she is actually 100% faithful, it's that her partner/husband believes that she is. So when she's around him she is model wife, that's all that matters.

They are natural cargo cultists. A cargo cultist will build an airplane out out of reeds and vines and not care if it can actually fly or not, because keeping up appearances is all that matters.

It's reminds of the tv show The Borgias.
The Pope's political opponents are trying to get him removed from office and so try to use the charge of 'notorious and public lechery'. Lechery itself isn't a problem, as long as it's discrete and behind closed doors. Hell, the guy was openly acknowledging that he had 4 children while unmarried and everyone politely ignored the implications and it wasn't seen as a problem.
Just like with women, there is no objection to the moral principle itself being broken, it's when its salacious and being gossiped about by all the local harpies, crones and spinsters.
(Note - I assume this sort of charge is probably historically accurate, but its tv so take it with a grain of salt, but the general point still holds.)

Yeah the sad reality being, that the man could be 100% in the clear, perfect relationship reputation, and one emotionally spiked night with the girls out of town she can fuck up your entire life, simply b/c laws won't be in defense, regardless of how amazing of a man you are.
[–]rationalthought3147 points8 points9 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
yeah because that one night she gets the bad boy tingles and decides she wants to find herself ie travel by fucking around the world on your alimony dime

So true. There needs to be an infidelity clause that will eliminate all the cash and prizes for women to be faithful. North Carolina, to my knowledge, has a statute that you can sue the one your spouse cheats on you with. There's just to much risk now to marry any woman.

...I left CNN a few years ago as I noticed the proliferation of "transgender" and "beautiful fat women" celebratory articles...now I'm seeing the same over at the BBC. This is where it's going boys.
[–]JJ33146 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yup all while they encourage female infidelity and cucked marriages. CNN is seriously cancerous propaganda. My elderly parents watch it, and my dad grew up in a conservative, patriarchal culture. They are just too old and clueless to understand how the network has gone more and more extreme over time (I'm sure it was never great). They still think the talking heads are honorable people.
[–]pilotmgtow4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I never read the CNN before and switched from the BBC to the CNN and found it was more cucked than ever.
I try to avoid the news now in general

[–]rationalthought31411 points12 points13 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
That's not 100% - oh, nevermind! Waste of time to correct that idiot. Women are addicted to attention and drama. Having a normal relationship is boring when you can have that topsy-turvy feeling of uncertainty, deception, guilt (not actual guilt just the feeling of it for the sake of the emotional tingles and drama), mischief, sexiness of doing something wrong, etc...
And of course they don't feel shame in talking to other women about it. That's a like a gang of thieves bragging about their crimes. Each one is trying to outdo the other.
[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
True guilt as felt by a normal man is so horrid that no one would do something purposefully that causes it
That's why I believe females don't feel emotions as deeply or as understood by a man
Emotions totally anchored in the self are not deep
[–]rationalthought3140 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
exactly. Emotions for many women is some akin to taking drugs. sometimes they want to feel happy, sometimes sad, sometimes guilty but without truly feeling them or learning from them. That's why "sad" chick flicks are quite shallow because they are made for experiencing sadness not actually understanding the concept of sorrow.
As with the guilt, I think many of them like to feel guilt partly so they can feel good about feeling guilty (that means I'm not a terrible person, right? tee hee!) and partly just to have that topsy turvy feeling of experiencing the emotion like they're at an emotional buffet.
[–]Teflon081913 points14 points15 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Faithfulness is an "in the moment" thing for women. They're 100% faithful right up until they see an opportunity to get away with being unfaithful. Then 10 minutes afterwards as they're cleaning another man's cum out of their hair, they believe themselves to be 100% faithful again.
[–]AdHomimeme0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I remember a lecturer in college explaining a facet of a clinical psychopath is the one way they think is: “what’s good for me right now. Not what will be good for me in 5 minutes, or five hours or days, but what’s good for me right now”
And then they’ll lie about it with no guilt or remorse, no empathy for the injured party.
[–]Tsukikoselenia0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Honestly, pretty much everything is only about the "what I feel right now" with women, which seems to be one of the main problems.
It really looks like they have huge issues when it comes to long-term thinking.
Even someone purely narcissistic can be smarter and realize that what they feel at the moment isn't everything, in order to secure a greater gain in the future. Women can't. It's "I think that right now, it's everything that matters!". Worse than 6 years old children.
Thanks to consumerism, this, a lack of integrity, and being obsessed by their "your happiness is the only thing that matter even if you must destroy the life of 300 people just to get the shoes you want" is a problem with most people nowadays but women are the worse when it comes to this, by far.
And then there are the studies in psychology that confuse pragmatism and selfishness....

I heard it said that, once upon a time, a woman who was having an affair on her husband lost esteem in the eyes of other women.
These days, it seems exactly the opposite. A woman gains esteem and admiration in the eyes of other women when she has affairs, if only because she shares interesting gossip, and actually advances in prominence within her social circles the more that she does it.
It has gotten to the point that, far from the feminist model that claims women do not have affairs because of "slut shaming," we live at a time of slut encouragement, whereby the woman who isn't having an affair is made to feel shame for not having all of these lovers and affairs that all the other women are having.
I’m not a religious person but I believe the Bible was created to keep female nature in check. There has to consequences for their bad behavior or civilizations crumble.
The story of Lilith is really what fascinates me as it’s believed that she was taken out of the Bible and replaced with Eve. For those who don’t know Lilith was the first female on Earth and Adams first lover who deserted him because she didn’t want to “lie beneath” him and obey him even though God told her to. She then turned to complete evil and was the mistress of Satan spawning hell children known as “lilum.” What’s even more fascinating is reading comments and seeing how many women side with Lilith because she stood up to Adam. Even though she was pure evil it didn’t matter as long as she didn’t have to obey a man.
The story of Eve took out Adam as the disciplinarian and replaced it with God so that it struck fear into the hearts of women. They made the analogy of the apple to show that women shouldn’t disobey god instead of Adam.
It’s amazing what we can accomplish as a civilization when female nature is kept in check. When it’s allowed to roam free it spells doom for us all. I don’t believe in God or the devil but if they do exist the devil is definitely a female.

My buddies gf of 11 years just cheated on him with an improv guy. She took her girlfriends out to dinner [who are also dating a few of the guy friends in our group] to literally brag to them about it. Luckily the other girls thought she was a piece of shit and told my buddy, but the gall of this girl. To cheat on the dude who's been taking care of you for 11 years, then brag about it. It's so fucking pathetic.

I will type this comment out for the 10th time so that maybe a social scientist sees it (I should just email one).
Do a study where you ask women about the sexual habits of their FRIENDS not themselves. You will then get much closer to the truth.
For example:
"has your closest friend ever cheated?"
If 100% say yes, then guess what?
[–]jew_throwaway9-1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
As always, the article is trash and "womynsplains" how female cheating is actually a rebellion against oppression. kill me now.
