MGTOW isn't the expected behavior, mainly. Women expected men to change to how they saw fit, but still be there. They wanted to impose rules on how men talked to women, how men behaved around women and they expected men to bow out of powerful roles and well-paying careers for women.

They did not expect men to say, "nah, I'm not going to play by those rules. I'm out."

Women still want men in their life. They want men to do things for them, and they want men to pursue them. Granted, they only want attractive men to pursue them. And, they want men to do things for them with no strings attached. That's why they shame men that don't want anything to do with them. It's like a logic error, and they just can't compute why a man would go against 'nature'. Why would this seemingly decent ~~provider~~ man not want to give me free things? !Divide by zero error!

Furthermore, most women go through life with a huge string of compliments and affirmation. Rejection is just something they don't deal with, so when it happens, they throw fits and tantrums.

Because, women want men to work for them. Make money, home repairs, entertain her, etc. MGTOW means there is a woman out there for every one of us that isn't getting free shit off a man's back. Sure, we pay taxes that go to women for many cases more than to men, but women also have to pay in to taxes. I just live minimally on 13k a year with no debts and zero income tax.

There is a lot of misogyny in MGTOW. And, the notion that a group of men is rejecting women entirely is a major negative comment on women in general. It's a shot to the ego for many women, to be told that more and more men don't want anything to do with them.

But, given that women find 80% of men unattractive, and given that many, maybe most, women seem to believe that a good man is rare, and given that we're way over-populated, it's not such a bad thing that so many women and men want nothing to do with continuing things the way they've gone for quite a while now.
