It's understandable if a gorgeous looking feminine woman has high standards, that's to be expected. But I've noticed in the last 10 years or so, huge numbers of fat and/or below average women now have really high standards for men.

It used to be that these women were grateful for any attention they got and they were happy dating another fat and/or below average man. But now these women have the same high standards as a woman who is an 8/10 or 9/10. There's even TED talks with larger, older women saying "where are all the good men?" or "why is dating so hard these days?".

It's a big culture shift that I've noticed. Has anyone else observed this and why do you think this has happened?
