Haha! I remember some girl who did reject me because I was three years younger than her. As I know women are attracted to men older than them, IDGAF and NEXT.
She is now in a LTR with a man that is four years younger THAN ME (and much more beta, he works in a supermarket, and I have built a personal brand and have become popular in the city). It's funny how things change with the years.

You never know, she may enjoy that. Women love beta dudes because they can boss them around and make them do stuff. She's been fucked enough in her life so I doubt she fucks him, and if she needs some dick, well, Tinder is only a click away. And we know, just like every other part of a womans life, all she has to do is show up and her goal is met.

That you're here and you have a girlfriend.
[–]curiouslyengaged4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link
So - I still believe in MGTOW. I don't listen to my gf I go my way if she wants to hop on board she's welcome to otherwise bye.

I'm mgtow and prefer female roommates to male ones. Wouldn't live with a female partner though.

I hope you dont mind... but this was a very interesting exchange between you and /u/curiouslyengaged
Interesting - the tenants of MGTOW hold up.
men can always chose to go their way thru capability choice and agency - women cannot.
do not wed, bed, or cohabitate seems to be the norm, as I would agree with doing away with cohabitation - I got screwed that way in a marriage a few years back. I've since found MGTOW and have been building myself a new resolve, what I'm starting to see is a difference in social and sexual order and preference.
/u/curiouslyengaged says he's got a gf that doesn't live with him. which I'm interested in learning more about considering how to "retain entertainment" for the short time, while focusing on other aspects of life.
I also recall seeing in the recently posted online dating profile thread, that another user.... says "I've survived on BJ's and tittyfucks".... which also - technically does align with MGTOW tenants.
What are your thoughts? would you care to expand on this in a new post?
PM me if ya like.

There are dogmatic MGTOW here and there are people here that are more flexible. MGTOW is about having a choice. Being in a relationship doesn't automatically disqualify you as MGTOW in my mind. I've set the ground rules with the relationship right off the bat and if they're crossed we talk about it straight away.
[–]toerrisbadsyntax0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
So long as there's no fundamentalist MGTOW I think we're okay lol...
Yeah, I see that the spectrum varies from very dogmatic to... more or less... "on the fencers"
I think choice, and the agency to facilitate it, is what many men have that women do not (among other things, responsibility, accountability, reasoning, logic, etc. ) Thus, we as MGTOW should be exercising that option every minute of every day.
And I also believe you're right, that having a relationship shouldn't disqualify you, so long as we're aware of the dangers, and steer clear of them. usually starting with basics..... No cohabitation, no P-I-V intercourse, no marriage/common-law arrangements.
Usually I would extend this to "no business deals with women" but, being the social climate in the current day-in-age, women have someone's power and money.... and well.. gotta get that dough.
However; I'm wondering.... sure there's the dogmatic "rules" or "tenants" of MGTOW but...... I'm looking at my interactions with people (women) in a more... pragmatic? approach. I'm a big hairy dude who chops wood, fixes cars, and motorcycles.... women dig me, I dig (most) women.... as they're ENTERTAINING... and that's that... I may not invest emotionally or financially with them, but I know that all relationships are transactions by nature.
I guess what I'm saying is this.
Rather than being dogmatic MGTOW and ... "disregard females, acquire finances" wouldn't a pragmatic approach be to humor them as they have, and will humor us?
[–]curiouslyengaged1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Exactly - I'm a guy and I like females sexually - why wouldn't I satisfy myself under my own terms?

He doesn't had a GF, he has a daughter.
Hope he has fun when she calls the law on him claiming he was abusing her. Like does he think they are going to take the word of some dude messing around with some girl 17 years younger than him?
These guys never learn that you can act all MGTOW macho all you want, but she has your balls in the end.
