My life has significantly improved since I stopped watching TV. Television is all about exploring different feelings and emotions, reality and logic is thrown out the window. When someone is constantly watching anything on television they are being "programmed" to accept that behavior or agree with those opinions.

I disagree. Womens behavior is largely just natural. Cheating, hypergamy, all of that is more nature than television.. and I dont fault them for it.

If you think English soap operas are horrible, you should watch those Indian ones. Apart from shitty plot, they have really shitty editing too. Plus, they have stupid stuff like a woman turning into a snake or a fly to take revenge on another woman. (No kidding, these aren’t sci-fi but soap operas, this kind of shit is watched by millions of women in India)

I can personally attest to this. Reality is so much constructed around the influences of media. It is sitcoms and romcoms for the young females and soap operas for the old'uns. You just gotta look into tinder and insta to see how much these thots tend to emulate living in a sitcom type lifestyle. You are more likely to hit up with a chick speaking exclusively in the parlance of a sitcom than make a rational dialogue (for which you'll be called boring).

What this means for men is to conform to these sitcom and romcom ideals of men and deal with the females exclusively on these terms. Hell, my ex used to give me shit for not being dramatic enough with her (yes, she literally said 'dramatic').

So, I say, let these thots fuck off with their reality shows and deliberate delusions. And let us, men, take control of our lives in a reality that is increasingly getting warped by these very females holding the power to dictate the ways. Go your own way.

For real. I had a friend in high school highly addicted the three soap operas. She was the most dramatic friend I knew, and ended up in an abusive relationship in high school,. Once that ended, (yes, I helped) she created drama every chance she got.

We lost touch senior year.

Another to avoid is an alcoholic. Suzanne summers wrote it best. Alcoholics will seek out crisis; they thrive on it. Can confirm, my ex husband was an alcoholic.

This is nonsense. Soap operas causing women to change how they think and act? No. Not even close.

They may give them different life perspectives and some women may choose to want those things that they see in a soap opera but they don’t cause women to think this way. Nothing can cause anyone to think and believe a certain way. That’s a choice.

For the women that see soap operas and live their life according to what they chose to believe and want in those soap operas, they already thought this way. They were drawn to soap operas cause it matches how they think, feel, and perceive life. Not because they were brainwashed by the soap opera.

So trying to blame soap operas and trashy tv for the way women think and act is an argument that falls flat.

Do you change your beliefs and thinking based on what you watch on tv? Are you that sheep minded that you think you should change yourself to match what you see on tv ? Some maybe but either way it’s a choice. We choose how we perceive and think. We choose what we believe. Nothing can make you change into something else unless you choose it.
