I'm sure that everyone who has read/watched fiction would be, at the very least, aware of romance-related conflicts such as having two boys/men liking the same girl/woman.

I'm also quite sure that many will agree that these fictional conflicts could have been avoided, or at least resolved more quickly, if the male characters had, if not gone full MGTOW, at the very least gotten things straight with the characters involved, including the female characters. (Yes, I know that fictional women are and real-life women are not the same but bear with me here.)

However, as many would know, such conflicts tend to remain unresolved for the sake of fictional drama. This, inevitably, leads to situations such as "poor communication kills".

While fictional drama can be entertaining to read/watch, I'm sure that many will agree that such drama can only continue for long, be taken so seriously, or become so severe before it becomes downright tedious. After all, there is the term, "Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy".

Therefore, if fictional drama can be downright tedious and draining, what more can be said about real-life drama with people who simply cannot, or will not, give you a straight answer, especially when you are the one directly involved with it?

The ability to avoid unnecessary drama, never mind avoiding spousal betrayal, is one valid reason why MGTOW can be a positive choice.
