Do Mgtow men have higher IQ?

December 9, 2017
4 upvotes

I was watching one of Sandman's video and he mention he speculates Mgtow men have higher IQ. I've also speculated this too. I did test my own IQ and it was around 130-145.

Just going off the general nature of Mgtow men, we are comfortable with being isolated. We're more intuitive with human nature. We can defer gratification. We have foresight of risk/consequences. I mean, all of these traits are signs of an intelligent person.

What are your thoughts?

On a side note, it's also said that more intelligent people have less babies.

I did a WAIS III with a psychologist here in France when I was 20, after years of being completely bored in school and being always at the top of the class without even trying. It was 15 years ago.

Result is an average of 141 points, with my highest scores in perceptual organizations. But in the every day life, what I gain in logic, I lack in emotional processing... and it shows with my day to day interactions with the world I live in.

One thing I can tell you, all these tests online are complete crap. I tried a bunch of them for fun, and I usually score more than 160. A real test takes about an hour, and is followed by a good 30 minutes of free talk with the psychologist to be accurate.

Yes, my general understanding of online IQ tests is they can be easily biased by the person who created them. I haven't given it much thought otherwise.

I'll have to take a real IQ test one day. I've been more and more interested about IQ in the last 3 months when I started to consider how well IQ correlates with one's life success.

Personally I feel it has more to do with personality type than IQ. The important thing anyway, is that people are exposed to the truth about our society.

People tell me I am the smartest person they ever met. And that I am really smart. I dont feel that way. I can say I am and have been very depressed most my life (which I was told shows up more in intelligent people).

you should watch rat experiments!

The reason why nature made sex such a powerful emotion is because it needed to be a powerful emotion because it is simply irrational and dumb to have children. Why in the world would you spend $1.1 million breaking your back to raise children and be a slave to women? So nature had to devise a strong emotion (sex drive) to overcome the rationality of MGTOW life.

I just graduated with an accounting bachelor’s degree from a respected public U.S. university with a 4.0. Take that anecdote as you will.

Personally I feel that a lot of smart men do hang around mgtow I believe wisdom is a greater indication of someone searching for -- and finding a forum such as This one.

Even though Myers Briggs is criticized, people with high intuitive sense, such as dominant Ni function will more easily see through superficialities and extract truth from their environment.

I recommend personalityjunkie blog for anyone interested in learning about Ni function or anything else Myers Briggs related.

If you mean more smart people are found in mgtow, well yeah probably. When everyone in your environment is saying one thing going "no I don't buy it" takes a good bit of introspection. This is assuming data confirms your point of view, otherwise it's the opposite and we're fucking morons.

Asked a while back with an informal poll and most of us were mbti NT types.

Naturally analytical and prone to develop "superior" intelligence through those processes.

[–][deleted] 1 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

One does not need superior intellect to exercise sound reason and/or logic. However, one must devoid himself of the influence from those who practice unsound thinking, lest he take on their qualities.

You're absolutely right. Though, I would bet a dollar that if we somehow manage to take the average IQ of all mgtows, it would be higher than the general public. (However it would be unfair to say general public as men are higher IQ than women, and all Mgtows are men. So lets just say all other men).

Yeah I think it comes to just simple critical thinking skills in combination with

foresight of risk/consequences.

I never considered myself the smartest person around. Never really felt like it. But somewhere I always saw people we're making weird and weak assumptions about things in life. e.g. In middle school when people we're deciding what to study for so they could get a job and be a happy flappy wage slave. I asked a bunch of different people but most of them said the same kinda study in health care or some communication studies. In that moment I already considered like: "People you do realize that if everyone studies the same goddamn thing that there is no reason for you to exist because you work in a saturated job field" But people we're following "dreams" which is all good and great but not when you can't eat anymore... I thought this was basic insight. apparently not.

I too never considered myself smart. I'm in my late 20's and I find it more interesting talking to people 3x my age. I have more insightful conversation with my elders than I do with people my age group.

The feeling I get from people that are young are most of them are followers, not doers. They easily buy into ideas and propaganda. Like the example you stated "following "dreams"".

[–][deleted] 1 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Well for me it really depends i know enough aged people that i find not really thinking that much better then my peers. But i aggree the propaganda gets easier in to people of Young age VS. People with much more experience behind them.(which Comes with age generally)

You're right. I work in construction and I surround myself with self-made men who run their own business/freelancers. I definitely wouldn't want to talk to a 65 yrold college professor unless it was Jordan Peterson lol. A lot of my peers are old because a lot of young people don't enter this industry. I should have added that as a disclaimer.

[–][deleted] 1 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Good stuff im in construction as well (construction engineering that is). But its the same boring office setting as most offices are

Of course there is a good amount of intelligence necessary to understand and adapt this philosophy. Also a certain amount of willingness to learn abd to be open minded. All of this demands a relatively high IQ. What’s leaving is with the question what will happen to the next generation of children who a brought up by retarded moms and likewise stupid fathers.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
