I am thinking that i might store my sperm before i hit 30 so that i have more time to consider surrogacy if i want (in my 50s). Provided they don't use my sperm to impregnate some desperate female somewhere.

I always saw having children as a narcissistic endeavour.

Instead of creating a copy of myself in some vein attempt at immortalization, I'll adopt. Plenty of abandoned babies that could use the help instead of adding to overpopulation, pollution, etc.

The main point to having kids is passing on wisedom/knowledge, in my mind at least.

Good thing about being a male is that you don't have limited supply of sperm like women do with their eggs. But I'm all for you storing your sperm in ziplock bags and throwing it in your freezer!
