I have a similar back ground and find most people a little to simple for my liking - I am pushing 55 Y.O. and have become accustom to being alone much of the time. In fact, I usually prefer being alone.

Seriously. Who cares man? If you dont fit in, be happy not fitting in, and if youd like to fit in, then become interested in what other people are doing or interested in.

You are not meant to fit in. No one fits in anywhere. People just know their place and things just fall in place. Be that mgtow guy everyone goes to for advice. I have 2 friends who always ask me for advice with women since they are still blue pilled. I only hang out with people 1 on 1 because group hangouts are a drag. Hang in there bud. Focus on other things that you can control. Also look to God for help. Hes always listening, you just have to make the first step:

Getting content in your own skin is a better gift to yourself than anything a group of friends could give you. And more people will be attracted to you when you reach that point anyway.

The poetic joke about it though is once you are very content being who you are, you tend to prefer solitude over company anyway.

Check out the Myers-Briggs test. There are tons of free ones online. Take several, compare the results to get a pretty solid reading, without going through the time and expense of a professional evaluation. You may find the results helpful in understanding, accepting, and embracing that which you've described in your post.

Long-time misfit here, I feel ya. At 52, I've had only a handful of deep connections, and divorcing this late in life has made maintaining friendships terribly difficult. I'm still working on complete acceptance.

Honestly it's hard not to wish for 'Blissfully Ignorant' and to be part of the Normals, but for those of us who won't ever be there, the path to acceptance is the only way.

Most women are like that, but most men aren't. Men are only like that when there are women around, because we tend to adapt our topics of conversation to women, their emotions, their frame of mind, their general tendency towards butthurtedness (yes, we are a charitable bunch in that regard, us men).

So if you feel like you never get to go into the the nitty gritty of life and mind with anyone, then I suspect you don't spend enough time with men only. And when you do, don't try to "fit in". Trying to fit in = self censorship = perceived lack of personality. I'm sure if you have something on your mind, guys will find it interesting - even if you're wrong. And voila, you have a real conversation going.

A wise man once said (think it was a Greek philosopher):

"Dude, just be yourself, bro!"
