I understand being selfish but I seriously enjoy the minor satisfaction of giving to a Charity that I truly believe in. A little bit helps. But we are all different and I am just voicing my opinion.

I will add that if you later decide you want another try at marriage or LTR, you'll be in a much better position to do it if you've reached your goals and achieved your dream. I firmly believe that the more you have to compromise for an LTR, the more likely it is you've picked the wrong person.

If you become selfish now, you can accumulate the wealth to become generous later (if you so desire, of course). That might be to a rare woman who does share your dreams, it might be to a charity, it might be to help another man achieve his dreams.
