Why is there so much gatekeeping on MGTOW?

I don't understand why so many people keep saying you're not allowed to go MGTOW unless you have experience with women.

Those people would be wrong. I've certainly never said that. Nothing about MGTOW that I've ever seen says that. It certainly is necessary for some people who can not or will not, learn from the experiences of others.

They say you shouldn't take the easy way out and give love a chance.

I'm pretty sure no one has said that.

that doesn't sound like gatekeeping. It is literally young people asking for advice and older people giving them advice. It's not even listed as some demand or requirement, just advice that you should explore your options before committing to never having a woman again.

My opinion on the subject. A red pill man, and a MGHOW man have many similarities. The differences are mostly based upon where a man is in life currently.

A teenage young man in a man/woman relationship sense is almost impossible to be MGTOW. Yet he can be red pilled all day. Be frustrated with the documented factual injustices perpetrated daily. Against himself and/or men he has in his life.

A man who's past the halfway point in life. Been married/divorced, dealt with women backstabbers at work, and in voluntary social circles. Witnessed shameless simping, and white knighting. Who's just fed up in general with the shit sandwich. Will be a MGTOW. He's seen so much bs from wahmen. That he refuses to put in any effort anymore.

A young man from teens to thirties. Still has opportunities to form meaningful relationships in life. If at the start, he's overly mistrustful of everyone and everything. He can really damage his life. Most MGTOW don't want that to happen to young men.

A red pill young man can effectively avoid evil harpyshrews. In most aspects of life. Many MGTOW are passing along anecdotal and factual data freely to men.

That's what psychopathic, control freaks, are terrified of. Psychotic fantasyland dwellers. Need a majority of young men. To be naive, simping, cucks. So they can leech the resources from young men. To perpetually live in their narcissistic, plunder bubbles.

In conclusion, I don't see MGTOW in the op sense as gatekeeping. They're more accurately clarifying MGTOW.

Homework: Go outside, take a look at the 1st road sign you happen to pass by. Does it ask permission to notify? How about the road, does the road ask the sign's permission to "go"? Btw, does the road "go"? Who goes?

I was banned because of a reply about how incel's are a just a bunch of whiners. I thought I made a well constructed and honest reply, and was immediately banned. I still follow them and see all the posts, I just can't reply or post myself.

While I tend to agree that /r/MGTOW needs to be solely for men, especially with subs like /r/FemaleDatingStrategy allowed to exist, but they're just as bad in so many ways. They aren't willing to allow criticism of themselves. History has proven that self criticism is important, and if they can't see their own flaws from within, they're no better than the people and groups they hate.

Sure there are always people telling you "you can't go your own way until..." but in many ways it's just training to the constant negativity you will face by being MGTOW. The whole point of going your own way is that you do not listen to others about what is good for you. Follow your own path. See what is reasonable, look at all the options, weigh them and take action accordingly. No one is in charge of your own life except for yourself, so you have to be wise on who's advice you follow.

The whole thing boils down to this.

There's a big difference between someone making a determination based on experience vs someone who just expects everything to go right and when it doesn't nopes out because of inaccurate expectations based on being raised under "princess syndrome".

Too young to go MGTOW. I would say try to date women until late 20s or early 30s. Then you'll have a good idea what you want.

It's ironic considering the 5 year olds (not a typo) who get registered as sex offenders for simply hugging girls in the kindergarten (UK).
