I'm an engaged RP guy who discovered game about seven years ago. I've been in an LTR and have caught myself slipping back into Beta-isms lately. My fiancé has been pushing for marriage for years. Now that we're finally engaged, she's expressing "concerns" that we don't have enough in common. Of course we don't! I'm a man who likes football, firearms, and f*cking. She's a woman-- and I don't feel the need to share two out of three of my favorite pastimes with her.
Nevertheless, I'm finding these expressions of concern tiresome. They could be a shit test. Or they could be a more transparent plea for reassurance. Or they could be genuine doubts about marriage.
Either way, I need a RP response to either keep her in my frame or brush up on my game if we're done. How can I Agree & Amplify or demonstrate some amused mastery next time I hear about having enough in common? Specific A&A responses would be appreciated!
