I’ve always had a bit of an issue with that statement. I firmly believe that you can ‘extend’ your turn indefinitely with good game and being the best option. Takes work of course.

All relationships are temporary, even if it lasts for the rest of your life. There's always a risk that something will mess up your relationship, lots of factors beyond your control. You could come down with some horrible disease and lose all your money and your good looks. All you can do is control the stuff that is under your control. Simple stuff like not getting fat, not being a slob, not being whiny and needy, staying in good shape. Most guys screw up the simple stuff that is under their control so of course she's disgusted with them. There's some small chance that a cement truck is going to slam into you on the freeway, or a plane is going to fall out of the sky on top of you while you're crossing the street, but you can't worry about those things that are beyond your control. Your unicorn woman is all yours until she's not anymore. Don't worry about it other than making sure you're doing the basic things you need to do.

This truth freed me. I had severe oneitis and it crippled me knowing my wife had been with a lot of other men and might still want other men. Once I got my head out of my ass I realized it didn't matter. I am better than anyone she has been with and better than all of her current opportunities. It doesn't mean she won't meet someone who checks boxes I don't, but I know my value and it's very high. Knowing my value cured my oneitis becsuse I know I can have women lining up to happily and greedily suck my cock.

Having said that, it could all change tomorrow. She could buy fake tits and jump up in her SMV quick of she wanted to branch swing. I could get lazy and stop being a man of value or get sick and lose my job. Anything is possible and I focus on what I can control right now today. Today I am her best option and she provides me immense value. That is all that matters for right now.
