Just to rustle jimmies, that story is ripped off from reddits r/relationships. I remember reading it quite a while ago. If you read it on FB one of the suggested links after reading is the original Reddit post.

I get what this is, and what you're doing, but this isn't quite the place for this.

Posting these kinds of "examples" is like using fiction (movies, TV, et.c.) to prove RP theory; RP theory is only explainable through real life. Sure, media gives a lens to focus things, but it's a fictional example created for entertainment.

This "meme" (which it isn't) is, as far as I can tell, the same as a fictional piece of entertainment.

Step-dad made the right decision in this story, but it really isn't MRP material.

We set up the sub such that people couldn't just link to articles. The idea is we want each user to add some discussion and original ideas as well. In the future, please, don't just link, discuss in detail what you learned from it.
