Story of hope: Had my very first therapy session ever. From someone who is from a culture where there is a huge stigma on even considering mental health i think it’s a big step forward to address trauma. Im now reading about CPTSD. From surviving to thriving. A book on ptsd and traumatic healing. Also learning to improve mental health and quitting to smoke / do vaping. Mainly by the therapy session and following tips from the Youtube Full mental health guide of Hamza’s Ahmeds channel. Learned that there is hope for having a job you hate and feeling depressed and behind in life. Don’t give up guys. Self improvement goes a long way. This is helping me quit junk food and go to the gym and actually face my internal problem’s instead of vaping. Or escapism. Hamza’s full nutrition guide also helps. And i would say discussing your difficult job struggles during therapy definitely helped me for my first session. Just wanna say there is hope for life to feel better over time.
