I have an honest question. From an evolutionary perspective, it makes sense that we save women and children first. Is there a valid argument here that most of you would agree with? I mean 1 man can impregnate hundreds to thousands of women, but women can only give birth to at most 10-20 children. So to keep our species going, women are definitely more valuable than men.

One last thing, I’m not saying this logically leads to ANY of modern feminist arguments as I find most (if not all) of them abhorrent. I’m just curious about this wrt war, mass death, and natural disasters. I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Horrible, but also horrible that aid agencies say women distribute the food more fairly among their family. Like, this is sad, but the reason for why this happened in 2010 is also sad
