I'm not. Actually notice the majority are male dominated. They are making more because of affirmative action. I saw this in Engineering. Upon graduation all the females got job offers about 5-10% higher than the males. Why? Companies wanted to look equal and there just are not enough females that will work the jobs. I started my career with a graduation of 50/50 gender ratio. 22 years into my career that ration is 4/40. All the females left the industry because it requires working in plants, traveling (if design engineer that works in office), and producing results that work.
They all became just like my sister. Once 30-34 hit and the family started, they slowly disappeared. Life was about enjoying life and spending time with the kids. Then around age 55 they return to work and get pissed that they hit the "glass ceiling". Guess what, it isn't because they are female. It is because when a man works those extra 15-20 years, that experience is what gets them the higher level jobs. Men that take off that length of time also hit the same glass ceiling in their careers.
