Indeed, I've noticed that feminists are very quick to say things like "society marginalizes/dismisses female sexuality" and that "female sexuality is just as valid as male sexuality", but as soon as someone mentions female rapists or that female sexuality can be just as perverted as male sexuality as well, now that person's being misogynistic or is derailing the conversation

In other words, female sexuality has all the positives of male sexuality, but none of the negatives; male sexuality can sometimes be (and often is, where feminists are concerned) a dangerous and oppressive thing, but female sexuality is always positive and should always be praised and encouraged

When I was in college, I had a woman jimmy open the lock to my bedroom door where I was passed out drunk, and I woke to find her naked and orally stimulating me in preparation to hop on.

So don't even try to tell me "women can't rape", and don't tell me men will be taken seriously afterwards as my "friends" not only found it hilarious, but all agreed I had behaved badly towards her and hurt her feelings when I woke up and threw her out.

If you asked me "how often do women rape", my personal experience would lead me to answer "as often as they want"...because nobody gives a fuck when they do.

Women don't "rape" in anywhere near the frequency that men do...mostly because we don't consider most of things that we call "rape" when men do it, to be rape when women do it.

If we used the exact same criteria for decided what is and isn't a sex crime for both men and women, I'm pretty sure we'd find women offend at a much higher rate.

Mostly because western women are raised from birth to believe sex is something they're entitled to, it's a gift they bestow onto men, and every man wants it from them so it's ok to force it on them.

the only one i disagree with is the outrage bear. its not that we shouldnt be outraged a woman is raped because women arent outraged men are raped. we should be outraged at all rapes, no matter the gender of the victim(s) or attacker(s). we should be a voice that is committed to ending rape, whether in institutions, bars, bedrooms, or wherever.

I was sexually assaulted as a child, by a woman. Attempting to press charges or even doing anything about it has never crossed my mind. I have no sense of support from the legal system or society at large regarding my experience.

Whenever female victims of rape feel reluctant to report or like nothing will come of it, that's apparently evidence of a rape culture.

I've seen the most ignorant/sexist/racist things coming form these groups which blatantly bash people for saying similar things to them. Equality is Equality, and not another extension of double standards.

They think they can redefine definitions with simple phrases like:

"Well I subscribe to a different definition"

"That's just jaded old patriarchs talking"

"It different and not like you think"

"You can't have an opinion your a privileged white male"

They akin accusers to victims when it suits them and apply the reverse logic in any other circumstances.

They fight historical and societal evolution, as we have evolved to this point where we are free to have these opinions, with condemning history in its self and viciously cutting down all avenues of reproach.

They order things to be recreated in which they don't understand or create them selves. The spit vitriol about the system and processes and totally negate it when it suits them.

Our biggest flaw in society is we listen more to whine of the squeaky wheels rather then for rhythm of evolution.

Extremists are Extremists and are almost always playing toxic roles inside our community. This is no different.

Rape is a sick and awful thing. Now that I have that out of the way, I can express further feelings and thoughts. The fact that people think that women are not capable of raping men is unbelievable. Rape in any form is inexcusable. Teenagers are very often incapable of making smart decisions regarding sexual interaction. 14 year old me totally would have let "Mrs. Henderson from down the street" take my V-card and that would have been VERY wrong. And it's not wrong because society says so, but because I wouldn't have been ready to handle the emotions and feelings that come with engaging in sexual interaction. It goes back to the sage advice that one should always masturbate before making a big decision.

The other issue I have with the rape discussion is the whole "guy has sex with drunk horny girl who the next morning then decides that she made a bad decision and says it he raped her". If any person puts them self in a compromising state (intoxication, for example), they have no one but themselves to blame for what may follow.

Let's consider two scenarios:

A man follows a woman into an alley. He tackles her and pins her down while he forceful penetrates her. Rape.

A woman puts on a short skirt, crop top, and heels, goes to a frat party, drinks way too much, goes upstairs with a guy, and they have sex. Not rape.

TL;DR: don't put yourself in compromising situations. Stay in control of your life.

For women, sexuality is more important than for men, because this is how they derive most of their power. At the same time, women’s sexuality is passive-aggressive. She spends 3 hours getting dressed up for a party, but the man has to make the first move. Her beauty is the aggression applied passively.

Is there really an equal number of male and female rapists/pedophiles? Almost certainly not.

Is he really a rape victim? We don't know.

We can all agree men and women should be punished under the same criteria and held equally accountable. The entire idea of justice is that it's supposed to be blind. That said, we don't know this person was a victim and the claims he makes are certainly wild in regards to the demographics of perpetrators.

It's very easy to blame feminists because women "get away with" sexual assault on men but ask yourselves for a moment which gender makes up the majority of the judiciary, the police and political positions? Men. Until men who hold power change their attitudes towards men who have been sexually assaulted and treat them the way they deserve to be treated, this problem will persist. Feminists can wave signs and yell and scream but the people who hold the power to change the way men who have been raped are treated are primarily male.

I say this as the mother of a son who was drugged and raped by two male university students.
