Most of you are probably now aware of feminist Julie Bindel proposing concentration camps for men (a group she regards as sub-human). Here are two of the best summaries of the case: https://hequal.wordpress.com/2015/09/05/hateful-guardian-writer-julie-bindel-proposes-feminazi-concentration-camps-for-all-men/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1JQUG7doCE

We've had some good success in spreading this story and now it's time for more activism. There's already a petition calling for the Guardian to relieve Bindel of her position there, but I fell that's the wrong target and likely to fail.

Bindel holds the position of a visiting research fellow at the University of Lincoln until 2017. They have far more equality obligations than the Guardian. Note that there's now a rather pathetic statement from the Universities PR department which fails to address any of the concerns, though doses make it clear that Bindel's position is unpaid and that she's merely a visiting research fellow rather than an actual full staff member (however, this minor change of the facts in no way impact son any of our main concerns).

Secondly there's Bindel's role as a patron of the organisation "For our daughters". They're funded by the Joseph Rowntree Reform Trust:
