She is right, for the wrong reasons. The bible actually does place the greater part of the blame on Adam. It says Eve was deceived but not Adam, the implication being that he was more aware of what he was doing.

Wouldn't it be god's fault that somehow and in some way god didn't tell Eve, or decided to not tell Adam to mention it to Eve?

Also if Eve ate it and everything was fine...of course Adam would eat it then. Its weirder that God, all knowing, powerful god, was waiting in the wings for them both to fuck up before popping out.
