If you don’t know what I’m talking about, here’s one https://youtube.com/c/Hamza97 . They disguise perpetuating male stereotypes as “men self help”. I firmly believe that most men do need substantial mental help due to the nature of our society (I am a male) but channels like that are the wrong way to go around it. They perpetuate that you can only be one way to be complete; fit, attractive, and wealthy. This may work for a lot of men but for others this simply is just a harmful mindset. Channels like Hamza tell men that they need to be ultra masculine in order to be considered a Man. It would be fine if he made it clear that his channel is just focused on fitness but it’s not. He (and others) make bank by telling young impressionable teenagers that they should hate themselves so they can be in “the top 20% of men” like it’s some video game and it’s overall toxic. Mental health for men has come a long way but these buff alpha male channels try to create this false image that every man must be and they don’t focus on what’s truly important. Self love and acceptance.
