This study just popped up on my feed and I just found it interesting how, pretty much all across the board, men and women are more comfortable, or less aversive, to women touching them than men.

This seems especially true in the case of women, where the disparity between genders seems even greater. It seems pretty evident to me that this is due to negative aversions/biases against men(misandry and social conditioning) and male sexuality but if anyone else has other thoughts on the matter I'd love to hear them.

Why would women, who are predominantly heterosexual, have positive reactions from being touched by other women while also holding such negative reactions to being touched by men? Where does that leave boys who also end up growing up being more touch-deprived than their female counterparts or internalizing other people's aversion to their touch?
