I'm not sure what this article is driving at. Are we supposed to ban images of buff guys? Or are we to demonise them like feminist like to demonise thin and beautiful women?

I think that's entirely the wrong way to go about it. Buff people will exist regardless of whether or not they're displayed in magazines, social media etc. Only SJW / feminist / leftist thinking will try to deny this through the "social construct" bullshit. i.e. if you repeat a lie often enough reality will warp itself to suit (it won't).

What we need to do is to educate young boys about proper nutrition and exercise. Bodies like these take a lot of discipline and hard work to attain. Bodies like these are desirable to gay or straight people. They denote strength, disciple and capability. No amount of shitty feminist theories is going to change this.

No amount of SJW / feminist "social construction" argument is going to make these bodies less desirable.

We also need a good honest discussion about steroids, TRT, HRT and the like. Not bury them by saying "Evil .. eviiill!!". This does nothing for helping young boys and men make informed choices.

EDIT: I just fully read through the article. It is absolute rubbish.

So I don't view this as a men's rights issue, it's certainly a men's issue, but I'm going to call a hold your horses on it being about rights.

As for the article itself, I'm sorry, but when did Chris Pratt's body become some unattainable goal? When did a reasonably developed upper torso and decently outlined abs become highly muscular?

Why not turn the camera on images like fitness model Helmut Strebl? This is what appears in the muscle magazines after all.

Or the real examples of what the needle can do for you in pro bodybuilding? This is the real extreme end of the fitness industry.

Or how about this asshole that some might remember used to be on TV, who claims to be 100% natural, and will sell you his secrets for the right price, presenting Gladiator's Titan, ignore the tattooed piano to Titan's right, he is very open about his absurd steroid use.

Lets not start demonizing Hugh Jackman for discovering he enjoys powerlifting or Zac Efron adding some muscle cuts for a movie.
