Singapore: Conscription is a privilege. Service cannot be measured in dollars and cents (with regards to the meagre stipends).

Going to keep talking about this. This is a chance to rectify some pure discrimination yet we have mostly conservative men and women who are primarily against it, and they don’t want to get rid of it entirely, they are fine with keeping it men only. I recommend contacting your officials especially senators and tell the either this whole system must be abolished or this discrimination must end

Yes that's what equality means. It means that everyone is treated the same regardless of race, gender, religion, etc

They say it clear as day: women have intrinsic value. Insinuating that men do not and men need to perform some act to have value at any point in time. Men are human doings while women only get to be human beings. Sad.
