Canada reads is an annual competition in Canada to see which novel makes it out in front. They start off with 5 novels each one championed by someone. Then they start eliminating.

I was genuinely please to find that two of the contestants came out to note the misandric theme in "The Break" by Katherena Vermette. For a contest that is permeated with political correctness having not one but two commentators note the misandry in a book was refreshing.
