She married him
She sensed it might be a visa-marriage.
She asked him if this was the case, that they'll get a divorce as long as they don't go with the wedding ceremony
Of course he said it wasn't the case
they lasted 17 days
She lost a good $30,000

I have very little sympathy for this guy. People think marriage is just a simple decision now a days and just jump into them. You shouldn't be making a life long decision such as this by a few visits to a foreign country. Of course most of these women want to come to get out of their country and not because you are so amazing they want to leave their fabulous homeland and everyone and thing they know behind. Ridiculous she should be kicked out though.

I don't think this is an anti-man thing. I bet the same thing would happen to a woman if she was dumb enough to order a Ukrainian man from a website. When you marry a foreigner, you are expected to deal with the consequences if it ends badly. He couldn't have been so completely surprised that he was duped. Thats a risk you take.
