I want to bring up a conversation here about cancel culture, because to do so in my home state is a bit deadly. Thus far my conversations about the ongoing Twitter events that have been happening have gone surprisingly well with both sexes. But let me tell y'all about the central premise:

A few days ago, hashtags on Twitter starting trending with "timesupalaska" "exposeyourrapist" etc. Mind you I don't even have a Twitter, but the amount of exposure that happened overnight was ridiculous. Essentially a group of far leaning left women, the type of girls with only fans, excessive make up and died hair, and generally bitchy attitudes decided it was time to dox and name every man who committed sexual assault in the community*.

I am not on this list.

So now this list is out, and on it I see, with my objective remarks: -friend and former coworker that is definitely fun to hang out with, and I could see being a bad guy but isn't from a girl I know who slept with him regularly and eagerly. -guy who I knew in high school years that I hated, but was extremely popular. Raped a girl I was trying to date actively, but she didn't care. She was addicted to him. Why idk.. He has multiple complaints of SA on this list. I always hated him. - a girl dating a close friend ??this one is surprising and makes no sense how I cut it - a younger guy, with a crazy ex gf and her family is even more psycho. I trust that he is a very good person at heart because I've seen him be an excellent caring person to all people no matter what condition he's in. - about 3 of distantly known people that the accusations leveled against don't surprise me in the very least, knowing their fucking asshole personas.

But my point is, I don't like looking at this anonymous list and it telling me to make judgement. For 1) people can change following mistakes, 2) an anonymous call out of names does NOT equate to the perpetual BS argument that 1% of rape allegations are false. Certainly there will be grudges, not true SA claims on this list, and 3) isn't this going to cause a net negative effect on things, instead of trying to grow together to heal the so called damage you have?

Sorry for the long post but I'm seriously lost in trying to understand it. Isn't this hiding behind a computer neckbeard incel activity but from women?
