Actually it is. This is also true with men accused of rape, or any other sex crime. The privacy of the accused should be shielded unless and until they are convicted.

The same should apply to women, of course. Equality of opportunity and legal treatment; outcome can take care of itself.

It's a legal issue. This could be a civil case. If that happens and she won, she'd likely have a slander case and printing her photo leads to fatty damages.
