Frankly I don't have a lot of sympathy for the guy. He was an idiot and she was within her rights to put a little scare into him and make him back off.

This is not a men's rights issue. Removed.

I'm totally OK with her informing this jackass's mom

Whatever happened to saying "sorry, this is too forward for my tastes" or "you should wait for someone to request that type of photo before sending it"? Thats what a mature woman might do.

Seriously? What happened to? That's never been a thing.

You don't send unsolicited cock pictures.

When was the last time you intentionally whipped your dick out in public and had stranger respond 'oh dear. I'm sorry, but you've committed a minor faux pas. Please put it away.'?

I can think of a few occasions where that might be the case (say the Folsom Street Fair), but generally this makes you an amazingly ill-mannered jackass whose mother did not raise properly.

What this guy did was harassment. It isn't cute or funny, and the first thing she said was "I didn't need to see that. I don't need to be disrespected by someone I don't even know". He continued to harass her after that, and insulted her for not wanting to see him naked. It was only after several more messages had been sent back and forth that she finally threatened to tell his mommy.

And good for her.

I am assuming her talk of the perpetuation of rape culture is his continued attempts to be coy with her after she made it clear she didn't want it IE "Don't like it?" "too big for ya?" "I'm only showing you what I got, relax, it's just my cock"

and if the tables were turned on this one and it was a woman harassing a man I am SURE you would be all over it talking about how it was social injustice, so just stop dude. She tried to handle it maturely and he continued to act like a child.

unsolicited dick pic

There's almost never a time or place where that's acceptable. We're talking about a normal person receiving it here, not a dictator. If there were a profile asking for dick pics, it would not be unsolicited.

You want to complain about people sending dick pics getting in trouble, complain about the misused solicited ones that ended up in an art project.

The guy's an ass, but looking him up on Facebook and tell his mom? That's seriously something that needs to be done?

Also, this isn't "perpetuating rape culture". It's perpetuating hook-up culture. Which is a thing that exists. And some women are into that, and are into stuff like this. He's an idiot for not asking first, or for assuming she would be into that, but he doesn't deserve to be publicly shamed for it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
