I don't know... I'm all for encouraging men to take up nurturing roles like teacher, but if there are any quotas I'm out.

Agreed, and it's quite hypocritical of this sub, given how vehemently against female quotas in science and engineering people seem to be.

Yeah I'm going to have to come out as opposed to quotas even if they benefit the minority.

The only work quota's that should be there is for disabled people that can still work

My son is not going to wait for culture to figure out that boys need male teachers. And I wouldn't ask him to. He only has one childhood. So he is in the best place he can be. With me. I homeschool my son before and after work.
Feminism will not allow boys to be fathered by men or learn from them. Anyone doubting this is beyond help. Not until fathers take their children's training into their own hands, at any cost, will education improve for their boys.

I don't care what the goal is, quota driven programs are never the right way to go. Programs like this would make us just as bad as the people we try to fight against in this community.

I just had a conversation with someone who had a different idea. She actually said that the problem is not a lack of fathers, but that housing in the west is not designed and built for single mothers.

I was appalled.

Yeah, I don't think so. If men want to teach children at early ages, it should be encouraged. But to meet a quota or to be a token? I would rather not.
