Wow. I was just walking the subway into Toronto, Canada, and looking at all the ads. Mostly empowerment and education type stuff. Not a single white male in over 14 ads. Actually only 3 men total, all brown. And out of 11 women, only one was white.

Not that I think race should be important at all. But in a society that's supposed to be pushing for equal representation, that doesn't quite fit, and is indicative of a much greater trend of intentional and systemic disenfranchisement and marginalization, of which 'men' are one factor and 'white' is another.

To put it another way, I think white people still make up 40% of the population in Toronto alone, and half of those are men. So if truly representative, the numbers should be more like 7 women and 7 men, and 3 of each should be white. But we all know that does not fit the agenda or narrative, and will not likely be seen for quite some time (if ever again).
