IMO having things like that would only further reinforce the idea that men are predators/untrustworthy, because then people will say things like "sex attacks by men are so bad in this city we had to have a female-only taxi service".

I am in favor of allowing businesses to choose which customer to choose but at the same time it's all or none. If you're going to allow one sexist business model you should allow all of them or none.

Why don't they let the customer say they want a female/male driver. The customer may have to wait for their choice. If there is enough demand the market will adapt.

This just doesn't make any sense. Men are more likely to be out working. In big cities especially, it seems they would need a taxi more often. Doesn't that kill off the majority of business?
