While I get your point, the age of consent in Britain is 16 so it's legally incorrect to call it "rape", for this case or even it was reversed.

I'm going to play devils advocate here. This isn't rape (unless he truly didn't consent) but is a matter of her being in a position of trust. The same would be true if the genders were reversed. It's due to the age of consent. At 16 you can give consent 'in fact' and 'in law', regardless of gender.

The problem with this and the one of the reason that female rapists keep getting a pass for this is that a large majority of me fetishize sleeping with their teacher as a teenage boy and therefore validate that this is okay.
