By her own logic... How does she not see. IF a woman exhibits misandry due to trauma she's suffered at the hands of men. Does that not ALSO indicate that men who display misogyny do do as a result of trauma they have suffered at the hands of women.

This so highlights why feminism is an inherently toxic and narcisisist ideology. Where comon logic and fairness breaks down into one side being incapable of wrong doing and the other being incapable of good.

Where as any reasonable person would be able to see.... Yeah theres bad men and bad woman out there. And suffering bad things can make us wary of those similar to the ones that hurt us (sex, race, height, vocal tone etc..)

Like it's so simple...

And so many decent women have been sucked I to this horrific narrative that blames ALL men, men who also suffer under the status quo.

And this is a problem very much with the feminists. Most MRA's will wholeheartedly agree that women suffer in particular ways and want that to be better for them. And they just say look men also suffer aswell, and IF a man has issues with women - well maybe there's as much as a reason for that as vice versa... Theoretically.... Maybe?

No you're just a sexist man pig who is too busy enjoying the benefits of 'the patriarchy' or whatever.

Anyone who says ALL women/men/race/etc.. are bad is a fricking idiot guilty of simple minded bigotry.

You know, I once read a book about toxic parents and psychology of their children. There was a funny and sad story.

One guy was all his childhood and teenage years pushed around by his overty controlling old folks. He said to himself "When I grow up, I will never let them controll my life". He grown up, became a succesfull buisnessman. Earned enough money to build his own house. He build it, designing everything as he liked.

And every fucking colour, every fucking design solution, that he picked for his house, was nothing more, than an exact opposite of colouration and design of his parent's house.

So who's really in control, ha?

They are ok with saying "I hate men", because in a civilized society they don't see how the good things that men do affect them daily. If they can even walk around without fear, it is because of police and military who do violence on behalf of their taxpayers, and it mostly benefit women, because a man is ready to do his own violence his protection.

Make sure they can see the good you do. If you do not get thanked, paid or get something in return for it, do not help anyone. Find ways to pay less taxes so your own hard earned money doesn't go towards making you obsolete. When they start needing men again, they will treat you with respect.

Disclosure here: I’m a woman. When I was younger (teens) I was the target of verbal s*xual harassment at school. It was tough to deal with, but I know not all guys are like that. I know some women deal with a lot more than that, and it’s indeed unfortunate and unfair. But it’s wrong to tar all men with the same brush. Too many men get the short end of the stick when they deserve far better.

I JUST got kicked out the the left wing mens rights subreddit. Basically for saying pretty much the counterpart of this woman's belief, that most of my misogyny is in reaction to the misandry of many women that I've seen in the past 50 years. They thought I was advocating misogyny.

BUT...related...given how many feminists think the way this woman does, I'm wondering if what many women see as misogyny is actually a projection of their own misandry. As in, people who hate everybody think everybody hates them.

Also wasn't that statistic debunked? I'd consider myself to have been sexually assaulted in the past but I still think that number is alot higher especially considering the way the study defined sexual assault.

Do they not think in what the consequences to this type of mindset leads to?

Imagine if all 90 % of these women adapt to the mindset of "I hate all men". Alot of people would take it differently of course but to associate men so negatively, what will a woman do to a man if she hates men? I see alot of these women still actively taking on relationships with men and it really makes me think, if she hates men what is she doing in these relationships. In her head does she not believe what she says, or is she trying to take advantage of men because she does hate them.

I just think it's easy for a woman to really believe this and then go fourth and start taking it out on men. Be it using men, or emotionally or physically abusing them.

And if that's the case which I'm sure there are cases of it where this is a huge factor, what do these men start thinking of women? It's only fair that the men affected can think the same way but apparantly not.

I don't agree with misogyny or misandry but if you start spewing hateful terms that are adopted by a vast amount of people towards a gender, you can only expect the same back. It's a very backwards mindset to just hate men and it's not healthy and it never will be, nor will it help anything.

Never feel proud of the hatred in you. It's not a good thing, it's not for a greater cause. Crap in life has made me bitter towards women also, but it's not something I am proud of as if it's a good thing I second guess women in general because of a few select women in the past. You have to recognize that (A) the people who hurt you, mistreated you, or otherwise made you angry, aren't the people in front of you now. Then (B) work out your issues so that your anger and bitterness gets in the way.

Both men and women can experience persecution, however I believe a less straining word ought to be used. Men have never as a sex have never experienced the insanity that was the lack of autonomy and ownership of one’s self that is historical to women.

If you believe things like racism, anti semitism, religious persecution have lasting affects on the world, if these things leave lasting scars that we can see today, then so does Sexism. For men and women.

A woman can say she hates men.

A man can say he hates women.

Both can be equally valid and invalid responses to trauma and tropes.

The -statistical likelihood- is what should matter, as it gives reason to why we feel the way we do now as this can be compared to historical evidence.

This is typical right wing ethical thinking. Feminism is right wing.

They are saying there's one rule for women (it's OK for a woman to hate a man) and another for men (it's never OK for a man to hate a woman).

It's a double standard and deliberately and explicitly so. She's saying women deserve consideration of their motivations and behaviour but men do not.

That's a halmark of right wing ethics.

For example a pro-life woman who had an abortion might say "Well that's different because when I had my abortion it was because I had to; I'm not one of these liberal whores screwing around with different men and using abortion as contraception".

My side deserves compassion and excuses - the other guys deserve suspicion and harsh treatment.
