That right there is the truth behind "toxic masculinity".

Men are objectified and seen as disposable.

It's really blatant if you look for it.

Feminists place all the blame on men and tell them essentially to man up.

That isn't helping. We need to instead tell men that they matter and they don't owe society anything.

In the UK, the highest suicide rate is among men aged 45-49. In the Republic of Ireland, the highest rate is among men aged 55-65.

A lot of the people who work for me are older men, and I've seen and said to them, some things their wives say or do, if a bloke did them to to a woman it would be called controlling and abuse. They all say "yeah probably" but they're stuck - they can't get out, what would they do? Their lives are based entirely on being the husband/father/provider, if that's ever taken away they'd be lost. Worse than that though, women of the same age have no such compunction with divorcing or leaving them

Everytime I read screenshots like these it just makes my eyes wide. Being a man can be a very isolating existence, always having to scratch and claw to get something. I will never marry thats for sure

I can relate to the unwell burden, for the first while of my decline in health and be diagnosed I just ignored it. Hell when I was told I had late stage lymphoma I cared more about losing my job and home then having cancer. It took alot out of me to accept friends and family were willing to help me.

We need to realize we are not a burden if we can't provide, we are not a burden when we are the ones that need help, we are not a burden just for existing and we can be loved for us not for what we can supply.

That subreddit makes no sense.

You can't be Left wing and an advocate for men, it's literally just not allowed and runs counter to every single policy and ideology of the left.

I can't name a single Democrat candidate who DIDN'T spew the nonsensical wage gap, or one who didn't shit on men at every opportunity. All of them want to tax men even more, which will - you guessed it - have the net effect of making men work harder jobs for longer hours for the ones they love.

I can't fathom how you can say "I care about Men" and then turn around and go vote for a Feminist who demonizes men and spreads lies about how all men are misogynists who "oppress women" via the wage gap.

Hating men is a litmus test for being a left leaning politician - establishment or not.
