My heart goes out to anyone who has contemplated suicide after a false accusation. I've been there, and I know how hopeless and helpless it feels. That being said, there is a statement from him in this post that irks me a lot.

I see the list as a net positive for having removed some extreme offenders. Attacking Donegan for creating the possibility of false claims ignores the failures of established power structures that shielded abusers and made the list necessary.

I disagree with this at every level. Those who create or enable such damage to innocent people should be held accountable for their negligent actions. It is unfortunate that even someone like this guy who has suffered from such lies is still playing mental gymnastics to justify the existence of such a slanderous document. His attitude requires that one be hoodwinked by the narrative that women have been historically oppressed and marginalized when engaging in relationships (which is objectively false), and that only women can suffer from sexual assault, coercion, etc (also objectively false), and that mob justice is only fair to make up for these supposed wrongs of the past (morally questionable to say the least).

Playing white knight like that isn't going to win him back his reputation, career, and life. I built myself back up from zero and left behind any remaining vestiges of gynocentrism, and to me it seems like he needs to start from scratch in a similar manner.

Found it ironic that he still defends the list because he feels that its a "net positive" for having removed some offenders. And disagrees with the lists author getting sued.

Personally, I feel a false allegation is a false allegation and it's the court's job to administer an unbiased fair trial to the accused and only once convicted, should anyone be legally able to state that they're sexual predators.

Simply because too many men end up like the author of this story and have their lives ruined, which I feel like he either just doesn't understand or is just trying to be politically correct while pleading his case.

They don’t say that it doesn’t harm men, they say it only affects 2% of rape accusations and this is an absolutely fair point, ...if we ignore that if we hide the minimum part we can also say that 2% of rape accusations are true, and that leaves a hole 96% unaccounted for that could go either way,
