It’s like, people suddenly forgot that most of our generation and our parents generation was raised on the lessons taught by Mister Rogers. A MAN. That people can like us for exactly who we are and made us feel good about ourselves. And everybody just loved him. He took the time to actually listen to children and read fan mail and wrote them all back. He also convinced a very tough Senator to actually grant the 2 million dollar funding to PBS, by speaking the lyrics of “What do you do with the mad that you feel?”

It really makes me sad how people are starting to forget about him, and if he was still alive today and had his show on, he’d probably get canceled for being a “pedophile.” Ironically, I’ve only heard very few people say negative stuff about him so it’s like 🤔.

I also wonder if he’d actually shut those jerks down in his own calm way. Someone stole his car back in the 70s or 80s and when the thief found out who the owner was, actually returned it and sincerely apologized!!! That’s so amazing.

I’m asking an honest question and I hope I don’t make people mad.
