It's so painful to witness... and even worse is if it were the other way around, people would rally round in an instant and defend the woman. There seems to be no accountability. On top of the abuse, a man often has to put up with the isolation and lack of support that being expected to just put up with it creates.

How to stop this? Why do the women in these types of abusive relationships think it's acceptable?
