So you believe that well-informed, educated people would never in a million years disagree with either the term or the concept behind the term? I'm sorry, but this is simply delusional. There are a variety of valid reasons why informed and educated people would disagree with the term (and the concept behind it) and I have outlined many of them in my first comment. Not only did I provide actual links to well-informed mental health experts criticizing the term and the concept, but I linked to a comment with a valid thoughtful critique of the term.

One important point in the comment that I linked to earlier explains how the "toxic" traits described by toxic masculinity can more accurately be described as "adaptive" rather than "toxic". Feminist cultural discourse around "toxic masculinity" tries to place the "toxicity" onto men but in reality these traits are adaptive responses to toxicity. Stoicism is a defensive response to emotional neglect, aggression is a defensive response to abuse and bullying, etc. Here's an informative comment that frames the problem more accurately.

This is just one valid reason why informed and educated people would be opposed to "toxic masculinity" as a term and as a concept. It simply frames the problem inaccurately. Alternatively, there are many terms that could be used in place of toxic masculinity that aren't nearly as unconstructive and inflammatory, "adaptive masculinity", "harmful elements of traditional masculinity", "toxic societal pressures", etc. There are many options available. "Toxic masculinity" simply amounts to victim blaming in most cases.

When men express their dislike for this term (for a variety of valid reasons), then people should be more than willing to accommodate men's wishes and change their terminology. The fact that so many people (mainly feminists) fight tooth and nail to keep this term around is very telling. It shows how they care more about asserting an agenda and pathologizing men than about actually helping them. It shows a profound lack of compassion specifically for men considering how this type of unconstructive and inflammatory language is seemingly only ever reserved for them.
